Meet Zsófia
I'm a full-time yoga teacher and sound bath practitioner with almost a decade of teaching experience. My passion is creating welcoming spaces where people can slow down, breathe deeply, move mindfully, and reconnect with themselves.
Before yoga became my career, I dreamed of becoming a professional handball player in Hungary. Although life took me in a different direction, my years in competitive sport taught me discipline, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the connection between body and mind.
When I moved to London at 23, I didn't speak English and hardly knew anyone. During that time of change, my yoga mat became the one place where I felt grounded, safe, and at home. What began as a personal practice soon became a life-changing journey.
After years of living in a competitive sports environment, yoga offered something completely different - a space to slow down, listen to my body, and find balance. I was amazed by how just one hour of practice could transform the way I felt physically, mentally, and emotionally. That curiosity led me to complete my first teacher training, never imagining it would become my full-time career.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of teaching hundreds of students through weekly classes, workshops, wellbeing events, retreats, and sound baths. While living in London, I taught between 15 and 20 yoga classes every week, working with complete beginners, experienced practitioners, pregnancy and postnatal students, and people simply looking to find a little more balance in their lives.
My professional training includes:
200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
50-Hour Power Flow Yoga Teacher Training (School of Svādhyāya)
20-Hour Mandala Yoga Training
65-Hour Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga Teacher Training (Yoga Mama Ltd.)
60-Hour Advanced Yin Yoga Training – The Art of Letting Go w Austin Ince
BAST Diploma in Sound Therapy
Alongside these qualifications, I continue to deepen my knowledge through ongoing professional development in functional anatomy, breathwork, meditation, yoga philosophy, and teaching methodology, allowing me to offer classes that are both safe and thoughtfully designed.
Whether you join me for your very first yoga class or you've been practising for years, my intention is always the same: to help you feel welcomed, supported, and leave feeling calmer, stronger, and more connected to yourself than when you arrived.
